Kudos, @WWCCblog, for guessing our Olympics-themed “Place”:  the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers.  Yep, we went OTP for this one, folks, and as expected, the guessing game proved a bit more challenging.  The Horse Park opened its doors (Gates? Fields?  Whatever.) in 1995, and the next year, served as the equestrian venue for the largest sporting event in the world: The 1996 Centennial Olympic Games.  Talk about coming out of the paddock with some horsepower!

The park’s sprawling 14,000 acres was the setting for all equestrian events, as well as the first ever mountain bike competition and the final two events of the modern pentathlon for the games.
