Underwearity for charity?…Draws for a cause?  Well, kind of…

THIS SATURDAY is the annual Cupid’s Undie Run, a charitable jog to support the Children’s Tumor Foundation, an organization working to fight neurofibromatosis.  NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form along various nerves, and can affect the formation of other tissues.  NF is believed to be as common as 1 in 3000 births.

So what can you do?  Well, you can strip down to your “shorts” and run the one mile course through VaHi to support this notable charity!  Or, if you’re more of the onlooker type, just post up at an Atkin’s Park window and have a nice view and brew.  All this after making a “sizable” donation to the cause of course!  BTW, be sure to check out Charity Navigator’s review of CTF…no Karen Handel slip ups here!

The skinny: Saturday February 11th.  Starting and ending at Hand in Hand/Neighbors. 1 mile(ish).  The party starts at 2:30 pm…see, you don’t even have to get up early.

PS. Check out the weather–it may actually feel like winter this weekend…
